At Ipswich Jets, we’re proud to be growing the game locally through our new Jets Pickleball program. Whether you’re playing for fun or ready to compete, there’s a place for you on our courts.

Social Pickleball Sessions

Join our weekly social sessions for casual, drop-in play in a relaxed and friendly setting — open to all skill levels. It’s the ideal way to meet new people, learn the ropes, and enjoy guaranteed court time.

Each session has 32 player spots available, with three regular time slots every week.

Pickle Hub provide an opportunity for players of all skill levels and all ages to learn and enjoy playing pickleball. With an emphasis on providing skills development opportunities for players
from beginners to intermediate level, Pickle Hub offer lessons and skills and drills practice sessions in addition to round-robin gameplay sessions.
A progression program is available that allows new players after completing an Introduction to Pickleball lesson to start playing in Beginner social play sessions. Then once they have built their
confidence, they progress into Social play.
Players who find themselves hovering beyond the Social level but who are not yet competitive at the Intermediate level can up-level their game through the skills development and strategy
learning opportunities with the lessons program and skills and drills sessions. The lessons and drills sessions equip players with not only skills practice, but also with the court positioning and
gameplay strategies they need to progress towards the intermediate level.
Pickle Hub was founded by Andrew and Sharon Wild. After falling in love with pickleball, they are passionate about providing players of all skill levels with opportunities to play, to develop
their skills and to develop their strategic understanding of pickleball. Both Andrew and Sharon have completed Pickleball Coaching Certification through Pickleball Coaching International.

Southern Districts Basketball Association Limited (SDBAL) is a community-focused sporting organisation based at the Southern Districts Basketball Stadium in Carina, Queensland. With a proud history of delivering competitive and social basketball programs across South-East Brisbane, SDBAL operates multiple venues including its home stadium and the Wakerley District Sports Courts. The association is committed to growing participation across a range of sports and providing accessible, high-quality sporting experiences for the local community. SDBAL is expanding its multi-sport offerings to include pickleball, leveraging its established venue network and strong community connections to create new opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
