Jen discovered pickleball in 2018 and is an avid Selkirk sponsored player. As a certified coach she enjoys introducing players to the game and guiding their development. Jen is a founding board member of the Pickleball Australia Association Ltd. and has also been involved in the development and management of tournaments including the Brisbane Doubles Open, Queensland Pickleball Championships, and the Australian Pickleball Championships. As President of PAQ Jen is enthusiastic about growing the presence of pickleball in Queensland for players aged 9 - 90+ by supporting the growth and development of regional clubs and establishing pickleball in schools.
Formerly an A grade tennis player, representing both Qld and SA, Bruce discovered Pickleball after his retirement from teaching. He has been instrumental in starting Pickleball in Caloundra through the U3A. He now plays regularly with the Noosa Pickleball club and the Noosa Pickleball Program. Bruce values the sporting, health, and social benefits provided by pickleball.
Brendan has worn many hats in the world of tennis including playing and managing successful tennis clubs, and working for Tennis Australia in club development. Brendan then stumbled across pickleball in his new role with PCYC Queensland and saw the light and. Instantly hooked, he established and manages Fraser Coast Community Pickleball. Brendan is keen to help with the growth of pickleball in Queensland - “I love that Pickleball is so simple to learn, but tough to master. This ensures there is a place in our sport for all and you can jump on a court, on a driveway or the beach with people that have played for years or those just starting out and have a blast.” (Brendan Lee, 2021)

Glenice has been playing pickleball now for 2 - 3 years and is a powerhouse in the women's game. She has been well involved with growing pickleball in Noosa, enjoying both coaching and playing. As a certified pickleball coach she looks forward to putting her skills to use developing the sport state-wide. Glenice is keen to build on the inital progress made with the PAQ Pickleball for Schools programme in 2021, and creating junior player pathways. Her experience as tournament director for the Noosa Classic will certainly help her with this.

Formerly a ranked junior, tennis coach and manager of an indoor tennis centre in Victoria, Justin barely played tennis for 20 years. A move to Noosa and the discovery of Pickleball ignited a love for getting on the court again. The ability to share the sport with family members and friends of all ages, and the social aspects of how Pickleball is played, is driving his love for the sport.

Mark discovered pickleball overseas and has close ties with both Thailand and Scotland pickleball associations. A founding member of the Brisbane Pickleball Club (BPC), and Level 1 coach, Mark is responsible for introducing pickleball to many. He has been integral in securing sponsorship for events, as part of the Brisbane Open Doubles and Australian Pickleball Championships organising committee in 2019 and for establishing the first purpose-built indoor public pickleball courts in Australia.

Gordon is a pickleball convert and has been playing in his words "the best game on the planet" for 18 months. An organiser of numerous successful events for Halcyon including their 2020 World Pickleball Day Event at Pimpama, Gordon has also recently been certified as an IPTPA Level 1 Coach. When he isn’t on the court Gordon is a National Marketing and Communications Manager and was on the board of the Gold Coast Sporting Hall of Fame from 2015 – 2021. Gordon is looking forward to promoting and growing community connections around Pickleball and positioning Queensland as the leading state and best place to play in Australia.
