Pickleball Queensland Club Grants & Funding Opportunities for 2026
We hope 2026 has started well for all Pickleball Queensland clubs. Thank you to our Club Presidents and committee members who shared valuable feedback with our Club Support team late last year.
Your input has helped shape Pickleball Queensland’s 2026 action plan, with one key focus clearly identified — grant assistance for clubs.
Pickleball Queensland $1,000 Club Grant
To support clubs across Queensland in 2026, Pickleball Queensland is offering a $1,000 Club Grant to assist with:
- Member development initiatives
- Facilities and equipment improvements
- Health and safety capacity building
This grant is designed to help clubs grow sustainably and enhance the experience for players, volunteers, and communities.

Other Queensland Grant Opportunities for Pickleball Clubs
In addition to the Pickleball QLD Club Grant, several Queensland Government funding programs may be suitable for pickleball clubs.
Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) – Round 126
- Currently open
- Closes: 28 February
- Funding available: up to $35,000
The GCBF committee prioritises applications (where 1 has the highest priority):
- Facilities or items damaged by a declared natural disaster within the past two years
- Equipment or facility improvements
- Vehicles and large equipment (e.g., buses, trailers, mowers)
- Community events, training, workshops, festivals, publications, and website development
- Organisations that have received more than $15,000 from GCBF in the past two years

Games On! Grassroots Infrastructure Program
Introducing the $30 million Games On Program!
Grassroots Infrastructure Program is helping Queensland sporting organisations upgrade facilities, increase participation, and build a lasting legacy ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Field of Play Program
This category supports smaller, community-level infrastructure projects, including:
- Shade structures
- LED lighting
- Upgrades to existing sporting facilities
Important Dates & Requirements
- Registration of Interest required by: 18 March 2026
- Shortlisted organisations will be invited to submit a full application
- A 15–20% cash contribution is required (depending on whether the location is urban or regional)
